Shared facility booking under your union’s rules
Shared facility booking in Jiwar lets residents book the function hall, the pool and the courts from their phone, under the rules the union sets: opening hours, booking length, limits per unit and the price, if any. Residents e-sign the terms of use and pay online, and the booking comes back confirmed — no phone calls, no logbooks.
Why a booking system for shared facilities?
One hall and dozens of families usually means two bookings for the same slot, a facility one resident keeps to themselves, or cash collected without a receipt. Jiwar turns shared facilities into something residents book themselves, in the free slots only, while the union sees every booking in one place — so disputes over time slots end before they start. Every resident knows in advance when a facility is free, without having to ask anyone.
- No overlapping bookings of the same facility
- Fairness between units, with limits the union sets
- Every booking in front of the union, in one place
Rules the union sets and the system enforces
Every facility has its own settings: opening days and hours; booking by the hour, day, week or month; the shortest and longest booking; limits per unit per day, week, month or year depending on the booking type; and the price if it is a paid facility. Jiwar applies these rules to every booking, so the board does not have to review each request by hand.
- Opening hours for every facility
- Bookings by the hour, day, week or month
- Booking limits per unit for each period
- Free or paid facilities with a clear price
Signed terms and online payment
Before a booking is confirmed, the resident reads the facility’s terms of use, written by the union, and signs them electronically; a signed copy is kept with the booking. For paid facilities the resident pays online, and the union sees every amount tied to its booking and unit — no cash, no transfers that are hard to trace. The signed terms are there to refer to if a dispute over the facility’s use ever comes up.
- Terms of use the union writes for each facility
- An e-signature kept with the booking
- Online payment tied to the booking and the unit

How does facility booking work in Jiwar?
From setting up a facility to a confirmed booking in minutes.
The union adds the facility
The chairman or board enters the facility with its description, opening hours, booking unit, limits, price and terms of use.
The resident picks a slot
The app shows residents only the free slots, so they pick a time and length within what the rules allow.
They sign and pay
The resident e-signs the terms and pays if the facility is paid, and the booking is confirmed at once.
The union follows every booking
The union sees all bookings with the unit, the booker and the amount, and can search and filter by facility and status.
Facility booking: frequently asked questions
Which facilities can be booked?
Any shared facility the union chooses: the function hall, the pool, courts, the gym, parking spaces and more. Each facility has its own settings and terms.
Can one unit be stopped from monopolising a facility?
Yes. The union sets a limit on the number and length of bookings per unit in each period, and on how many bookings a unit can hold at once, and Jiwar refuses any booking that goes beyond them.
Is payment required?
No. A facility can be free or paid, as the union decides. For paid facilities, residents pay online when they book.
How do a facility’s terms of use work?
The union writes each facility’s terms once; residents e-sign them before a booking is confirmed, and a signed copy is kept for reference in case of any dispute.
Can a facility be booked for days or months?
Yes. The union sets each facility’s booking unit: by the hour for halls and courts, or by the day, week or month for facilities such as parking spaces, and lengths and limits are counted in that same unit.
Who can book facilities?
Owners and residents registered with the union book in the name of their units, and the union decides which facilities are available, so nobody from outside the complex can book.
Can the union’s chairman see every booking?
Yes. The chairman and board see all of the union’s bookings, with search and filters by facility, status and date, while each resident sees only their own bookings.
